Our team at First & Green has lofty goals. We want to express excellence in the most inclusive, accessible, genuine, and hospitable way possible. Our desire is to delight every guest by offering memorable and fun experiences characterized by great food, a gorgeous venue and exceptional hospitality.

In 2013, Deborah Bailey bought the building, along with a number of others on the Courthouse Square. With help from master builder Jim Stuvee and his team, this 1867 gem was rebuilt, from the dirt up. The original wood was saved and reused to create the lovely space we use today, which evokes its history as first Doaks and then Grenada Hardware, owned and operated for over 50 years by Joe and Katie Boone.

First & Green, and the luxury loft apartments above it, are part of a long term goal of building on Grenada’s deep heritage in music and craftsmanship to create an area where visitors and locals alike can enjoy themselves and be proud of the many unique aspects of life in Grenada and Mississippi.
