Molly’s Place

rent our restaurant for exclusive use of the cozy space

Max Guest Capacity: 40 seated

The Story

Now a thriving restaurant named for Deborah Bailey’s mother Molly, this small space has been home to multiple offices over the years, though it was in ruins when Deborah bought it in 2013. There is a newspaper photo on the wall of Frank Crowder as a boy, sitting in the window of what was then the Delta Council for Employment Opportunity.

Molly’s Place also pays tribute to Molly’s love of flying, manifest in her service with the Women’s Air Force Service Pilots in WWII. She would have loved the fabulous but now seriously neglected Grenada Airport, also a legacy left by World War II.

The Space

Molly’s is tiny, with seats inside for 40, and a beautiful bar and tables made from the 200 year old heart pine floor joists discovered during the renovation of First & Green across the street. We squeezed in a full service restaurant kitchen that our team uses to create lovely food.

Related Spaces
